How to study

If you’re interested in completing a Diploma of Accounting, there are several ways to get started. If you don’t meet the entry requirements for the course, you could do a course that leads into the Diploma of Accounting, like the FNS40217 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or FNS40215 Certificate IV in Bookkeeping. Alternatively, if you’ve already worked in the industry as a bookkeeper or similar, or studied a similar course, there may be the option for recognition of prior learning (RPL).

Many RTO‘s now also offer online courses, as most companies use an online accounting system. This means that you can study your chosen course from anywhere within Australia, or even when travelling! International students should inquire with CRICOS to determine whether they are eligible students for the course. There are also a range of full time and part-time courses available so that you can complete your diploma of accounting within your own time.

What you’ll learn
